The duo of Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug still remain one of rap's biggest "what ifs" nearly ten years after releasing their biggest collaborative hit, "Lifestyle." While the two rappers continued to enjoy successful solo careers after Rich Gang broke up, fans still debate how much more success Quan and Thug could have achieved together.

Since going their separate ways, both have taken slight shots at each other but have avoided open discussions about what led to the split. During a recent sit-down with Adam22 from No Jumper, Rich Homie Quan gave one of the most detailed responses when asked why he and his Atlanta peer fell out.

"The s*** [started] falling apart when we started getting booked for shows," Quan said. "We all started getting booked together, and ego played a big role in it. Certain people, including myself, certain people felt like they should go last, certain people wanted more money, and one of those -- I ain't gonna say too much."

The rapper admitted to avoiding addressing the fallout in previous interviews before talking about various incidents related to the split. Quan added that he and Thug's crews also escalated the tension. One of the incidents included a show where Yak Gotti unplugged Quan's DJ's equipment during a set that was scheduled right before Young Thug's.

Later in the clip, Rich Homie Quan talked about his legal dispute with T.I.G. happening at the time of his split with Young Thug, so he couldn't address it effectively or release music. He also admitted to going through depression during this time as he saw many of his Atlanta rap peers continue to grow into star acts.
