Damon Dash recently spoke to a group of entrepreneurs at the Young Entrepreneurz Solutions’ ‘YES National Business Plan Challenge’ in St. Croix. He commented on Kanye West’s recent struggles within the media, along with deals the rapper lost with various companies.
When speaking about West, Dash noted that being in contact with Ye is “draining” and that people are concerned with the wrong thing regarding the rapper. Dash said many should be concerned with his health.
Dash said, “You think big brother turns off?” He continued speaking about if he’s in contact with Ye, saying: “Yeah, I’m in contact with him; it’s draining. But, you know, he’s bipolar. People forget that. I don’t care how rich you are, if you have a chemical imbalance, you’re gonna say some crazy things.”
The Roc-a-Fella Records founder then talked about West’s health status, saying, “People should be more worried about his health than worried about what he says. He already admitted that he was bipolar, he’s been in a straitjacket in front of everybody. Why do you listen to somebody bipolar if they tell you they bipolar?” Dash then noted he is upset with people who don’t focus on his health because Ye has money, saying, “A man tell you he’s sick and then he start acting sick, ’cause he’s rich y’all listen to him as if he’s not. That’s that. But it’s sad what’s going on.” Watch above.
