According to reports, 53-year-old Roy Jones Jr. will face off in a celebrity boxing match against Robert Wilmote, also known as NDO Champ, who is a social media personality and professional bodybuilder.
The two are scheduled to fight in Miami on January 28, 2023, and there will reportedly be five one-minute rounds. The last time Jones Jr. stepped in a ring was to box with Mike Tyson in an exhibition match that found him keeping up with the boxer for eight rounds.
Reports noted the January fight would be NDO Champ’s first time hopping into the ring but previously was seen sparring with former welterweight champion Andre Berto. Stay tuned for more updates.
