According to reports, Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, filed a lawsuit against the state of New York over his sex offender status. However, prosecutors have filed a motion to dismiss.
Petty claims he didn’t receive a notice about a 2004 Sex Offender Registration Act hearing. Prosecutors claim Petty did properly get notified. Since then, Petty has moved to get his name taken off the sex offender registry in New York.
Minaj’s husband claims that someone forged his signature on the alleged notice he received, which was sent to an address he didn’t live at due to being locked up. Prosecutors are saying the statute of limitations is up on his case. Stay tuned for more updates.
