Although the New Orleans Saints are having a down year, Juwan Johnson is in the midst of a breakout season. The team's starting tight end is just three years removed from being signed by the team as an undrafted rookie free agent.

Injuries to the Saints' starting wide receivers, Michael Thomas and Jarvis Landry, have provided Juwan Johnson with an opportune moment to put up big numbers during a contract year. Johnson is in the final year of an $895,000 contract. His stats indicate that he is underpaid as a starting tight end. Nevertheless, his income seems to suit his wife, Chanen Johnson, just fine. The outspoken social media influencer recently went viral for her candid response to a question about spending her husband's cash.

"When I [pause]...[when] we get paid...I will spend as much money as I want because it's our money, and he decided to marry me," Chanen Johnson explained. "I do everything he wants...I'll cook and clean and stuff like that, and when he makes money, I'm gonna spend it. And that's just what marriage is. You don't have to get married...[but] as soon as we became one, whatever is his is also mine, so I pretty much live my life as I please and that's just the way it is."

The video clip has been viewed over 3 million times, and it has prompted several social media users to call Chanen a 'gold digger.' However, she and her husband have earned a significant amount of money as content creators on TikTok. Their joint account currently has over 2 million followers.
