Senator Ted Cruz of Texas is easily one of the most polarizing and divisive figures in politics. Needless to say after Cruz was beaned by a beer can during the Houston Astros World Series parade.
A suspect has since been arrested, according to the Houston Police Department via Twitter. "HPD made one arrest during today’s victory parade. A male, 33, threw a beer can at U.S. Senator Ted Cruz as the Senator was on a float in the 2400 block of Smith St. The beer can struck the Senator in the chest/neck area. The Senator did not require medical attention," the department tweeted on Monday.
If Cruz wasn't being pelted by cans of White Claw, he was being jeered by the crowd of his constituents as he caravanned through Houston.
