In 2015, Lamar Odom suffered several heart attacks and strokes, which left him comatose and on life support in a Las Vegas hospital. In order to pay his hospital bills, Lamar decided to pawn his NBA championship rings, which fetched $36,600 and $78,000 at auction.
While speaking on his new "On the Lo" podcast, Lamar revealed how he was able to get the rings back. He explained that he "panicked" after realizing that he had $0 in his bank account after waking up from his coma. Lamar added that the Lakers hooked him up with good tickets, and he decided to go to a game, which is where he ran into a familiar face.
Lamar explained that a fan that used to sit next to the players during his time at the Lakers approached him and told him that he bought Lamar's championship rings. Lamar added, "I pulled up on him, and he gave me my sh*t back for nothing."
