Recently, Madonna took to Instagram to call out people who have benefitted from the foundation she laid as a woman in the music industry, specifically with the more sexual nature of her artistry. Madonna went on to call out Miley Cyrus, Kim Kardashian, and Cardi B, saying, “Now Cardi B can sing about her WAP. Kim Kardashian can grace the cover of any magazine with her naked a**, and Miley Cyrus can come in like a wrecking ball… You’re welcome b***hes 🤡.” Now, Cardi B has responded.
Cardi took to Twitter in now-deleted tweets, saying, “I literally paid this woman homage so many times cause I grew up listening to her… she can make her point without putting clown emojis and getting slick out the mouth.” The rapper continued “Nobody gonna lil girl me (especially a white woman).”
Since then, both stars reportedly got on the phone with Jason Lee of Hollywood Unlocked and squashed their issues. Cardi hopped back on Twitter to say, “I talked to Madonna… It was beautiful… Have a great day and drive safely yallll.” Madonna responded by saying, “I love you @iamcardib!!
