The Scotiabank Arena in Toronto is home to Canada's only NBA franchise, the Raptors. The venue was once home to iconic moments provided by hoopers such as Damon Stoudamire, Tracy McGrady, Vince Carter, Chris Bosh, and Kawhi Leonard. On Wednesday night, just ahead of the team's regular season home opener against the Cleveland Cavaliers, they were treated to another memorable moment that has since gone viral.

Moments before the Raptors' starting lineup was introduced to the live audience by the team's public address announcer, the lights dimmed, and "Family Ties" by Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem echoed throughout the venue. When it came time for a role player named Precious Achiuwa to get his shine, fireworks went off behind him, and he suddenly ducked for cover as if he heard a gunshot go off at the club. The 23-year-old power forward quickly recovered and waved to the crowd after his name was announced. He would go on to score 10 points and grab five rebounds in the Raptors' nail-biting victory over the Cavaliers, 109-106.
