Previously, news surfaced noting that battle rapper Tsu Surf was arrested in connection to a RICO case. Details were limited at the moment, but it was noted an extensive investigation was conducted by the DEA before his arrest. Now, more details related to Tsu Surf’s arrest have been revealed. 

Surf was indicted by the feds for alleged involvement with a criminal gang enterprise under the Rollin’ 60s crips. According to TMZ, the rapper was charged with racketeering conspiracy and possession of firearms and ammunition by a convicted felon. 

It was noted nine other people were charged in the indictment, with charges ranging from carjacking, drug possession and drug distribution. The indictment finds feds claiming the rapper assisted in a shooting against a rival Crip gang member in March 2017 and that Surf also used his Instagram profile to set up an MMDA drug deal.  Tsu Surf is set to appear in front of a federal judge in Newark on Friday. On Thursday, the U.S. Marshals Service New York New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Tsu Surf (aka Rajon Cox) in connection with a RICO case. According to reports, the well-known battle rapper was apprehended at the home of a female associate in his native state of New Jersey. Tsu Surf reportedly tried to evade law enforcement before refusing to adhere to their demands for him to surrender. Eventually, crisis negotiators were called in, and the 31-year-old emcee was detained peacefully.

The arrest of Tsu Surf is a direct result of an extensive investigation by the DEA. The arrestee is expected to appear in court on Friday. He is currenly at the Wssex County Jail.
