Chicago is one of the most murderous cities in America. Not only is it the birthplace of notorious street gangs such as the Black Disciples and the Latin Kings. It is also home to the police force, with one of the highest suicide rates in the country. So, when several locals refer to the area as "Chiraq" there's a valid reason for that. PTSD is running rampant, and tension is high between the Mayor (Lori Lightfoot), law enforcement, gangs, criminals, suspects, and everyday patrons. City officials recently introduced a "No Chase" policy to help ease the frustration and prevent unnecessary altercations between the cops and patrons. But the legislation has done little to minimize the number of on-camera scuffles that continue to find their way to the internet. A recent exchange between a Chicago Police officer and a patron has gone viral because of the roughhousing involved. Many are questioning the backstory behind the officer's aggressive arrest.
