Kanye West continues to cause a stir among his fans and friends in the industry over his "White Lives Matter" t-shirt and doubling down when challenged by his contemporaries.
In direct response to Ye's controversial shirt, Yasiin Bey (formerly known as Mos Def) took to social media to don a "White Lies Matter" shirt. The design features German philosopher Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel, whose "Master/slave dialectic" is said to provide a Eurocentric account of history.
