On Wednesday, a group of New Yorkers witnessed a horrific on-camera incident that saw several of their fellow pedestrians injured at the hands of an NYPD land cruiser that inadvertently jumped a curb and plowed into about eight bystanders at a bus stop on Westchester Avenue. The events leading up to the accident involved a high-speed police chase where the driver of the NYPD land cruiser was in hot pursuit of a car thief. According to reports, the cop car had its emergency lights on as it swerved through traffic, but when the automobile clipped the other vehicle involved from behind, it spun out of control and jumped the curb, striking a large number of people.
“What the f*ck! What the f*ck, man!” Yelled a bystander. “Who’s driving? Who the f*ck driving?”
In the aftermath, ten people, including the cops in the aforementioned land cruiser, were injured in this freak accident. The devastation left behind saw one patron, in particular, lying in a puddle of their blood, while two more victims could be seen hyperventilating on the ground as well.
