During the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards, Milan Harris, the mother of Meek Mill's son, spit a few bars in what seemed like an innocuous appearance at the ceremony but Meek wasn't as enthused as some might believe.
Going by the stage name “Milan Rouge,” Harris rapped over Missy Elliott's "Hot Boyz." While she received favorable responses Meek Mill called out BET for what he thinks was a deliberate set up to embarrass her.
“Ion like ‘bet’ got my bm tryna spit bars for attention/clout,” Meek tweeted. “It’s like a setup embarrassment made to look like opportunity! and I’m with the ‘women hustler empowerment motion’ but y’all drawin .. Pure manipulation.”
