Some of New York City's most bizarre and dramatic on-camera fights have taken place on subway trains. Several video clips depicting melees on NYC subway trains have garnered well over a million views online. On Sunday, a group of six women dressed in neon green bodysuits added yet another ill-famed notch to that notion when they swarmed a subway train, like a scene out of a Batman film, before assaulting and robbing two 19-year-olds.
The peculiar scuffle seemed to entertain most onlookers as many of them just stood around and filmed the incident with their camera phones. The occurrence took place around 1:49 am at the Times Square subway station. According to reports, the fight lasted about five minutes before authorities arrived on the scene. The suspects are still at large.
