There has been much speculation surrounding Migos and the trio splitting up. News of the possible split heated up when the trio canceled a significant performance at Governor’s Ball in New York this summer. Quavo and Takeoff revealed they were dropping a project together called ‘Only Built for Infinity Links.’ Since then, Quavo and Takeoff made an appearance on the ‘Big Facts’ podcast and spoke about the group splitting and the possibility of an album from the trio down the line.
The duo was asked about the future of Migos, and Quavo said, “We want to see our career as a duo.” He continued, “Because we came from a loyal family that's supposed to work together. And sometimes when s**t don’t work out, it’s not meant to be.”
Takeoff gave his thoughts on the subject, saying, “We don’t know all the answers. God know. We pray a lot so only time will tell. Aint nothing got to change.” Quavo concluded their thoughts on Migos by saying, “We stand on loyalty. And sometimes that sh** ain’t displayed.
