Former NFL running back LeGarrette Blount apologized publicly after being involved in a fight at a youth football game. The incident happened during a 12 and under youth game in Arizona when Blount took exception to something someone said as players were in the handshake line.

Video shows Blount becoming incensed and going after the individual before ultimately being restrained.

On Monday, Blount said in his apology, "As a leader, coach, father and a role model I understand my actions are unacceptable." He added, "I hope and pray for your understanding and forgiveness and plan to continue to be a positive impact in the lives of our youth."
