The third generation of the decorated Manning family legacy in football appears to be in full swing. On Friday, Arch Manning (the grandson of NFL Hall of Famer Archie Manning) toppled the high school records of his famous uncles, Peyton and Eli, when he threw for 356 yards and seven touchdown passes, leading Isidore Newman to a 52-22 victory over Pearl River. The stellar performance by the number 2 high school recruit in the nation (according to ESPN) helped Arch leap ahead of his uncle Peyton in touchdown passes and his uncle Eli in all-time passing yardage.

At the age of sixteen, Arch Manning is currently a Junior in high school. This means he'll have one more year to add to his recording-breaking numbers at Isidore Newman in New Orleans, Louisiana, before he joins the Texas Longhorns in the NCAA during the year 2023. His father, Cooper, was once a heralded wide receiver prospect out of Isidore Newman, but his playing career was cut short when he was diagnosed spinal stenosis before his freshman year at the University of Mississippi.
