Miami Heat superstar Jimmy Butler has caught heat for seemingly getting loc extensions during the offseason, which he addressed during NBA Media Day on Monday (September 26).
When asked about his hair, Jimmy stated, "I don't have any extensions," adding, "I don’t know what you're talking about. I'm trying out a lot of new looks. Ya'll like my baby-face assassin look? It's kinda cute, isn't it? I really don't know. I ain't even thought about it. I'm just messing with stuff to make the internet mad. That was my goal this summer, and it worked."
During the sit-down, Butler also addressed power forward P.J. Tucker leaving the Heat in free agency for the Philadelphia 76ers. Jimmy joked, "P.J.’s a traitor. I tell him every single day."
He then spoke about how things would be different without Tucker, stating, "There are going to be changes. Everybody realizes roles are going to change. There are going to be a lot of changes that have nothing to do with me. As training camp comes along, it’s going to be exciting to see what this lineup is about."
