On Wednesday night, a group of residents in Tarimoro, Guanajuato, Mexico, heard gunshots echoing throughout the area surrounding a bar called the Alcantarilla billiards room. Video footage from inside the venue illustrates a horrific scene where multiple victims lay on the ground as gunmen with alleged ties to the Santa Rosa de Lima cartel unleashed an array of gunfire that claimed at least 10 victims before they fled the scene, leaving behind a series of signs and death notes.
According to eye-witness reports, the gunmen arrived at the Alcantarilla billiards in three vans; the suspects are still at large. Immediately following the violent incident, Mexico's army and the national guard opened an investigation into the matter.
