Young Guru appeared on Math Hoffa’s ‘My Expert Opinion’ podcast and spoke about Jay-Z warning the roster of Roc-A-Fella Records that 50 Cent’s takeover of the rap game was on the way and that they better prepare themselves. The storied engineer then shared praise for 50, which led 50 to react to Guru’s story.
Guru went on to tell Math Hoffa, “[Jay-Z] walked in the studio—he said it before, but I'm telling you how impactful it was—he walked in the studio, and he was like, 'Yo, this dude 50, y'all gonna have to deal with him in the next couple months.' He said it to the whole crew, 'You have to deal with him.'”
50 responded to Guru after posting the footage, saying, “@youngguru763 I love you n***as too, 🤷🏾♂️ I just need somebody to compete with. It makes me find a way, Jay know I will always find a way.” Take a look above.
