In this full-length interview, Desiigner talks about his Brooklyn roots, his Caribbean heritage, and being the grandson of a famous African American Blues singer named Sidney Selby, aka Guitar Crusher. As the discussion continues, the 25-year-old talks about growing up in the Louis Armstrong projects, gang-banging, getting shot at the age of fourteen and hustling. He also talks about how getting shot changed his life and made him want to choose a different path.

From there, he revisits some of his earliest hits, such as "Zombie Walk," which was released back in 2016. Then, the 25-year-old talks about the making of "Panda" from his debut album and how the song was curated amongst his friends at his house before he was even signed. The New York rapper goes on to explain that "Panda" was inspired by seeing his friend's black and white Audi S6 cars and the panda emoji that he saw on his phone. Moving along, Desiigner reflects back on signing with Kanye West's imprint G.O.O.D. Music and having the iconic emcee use "Panda" for his album called "The Life of Pablo."
