Barton Fitzpatrick, the actor primarily known for his portrayal of the villainous drug dealer named "Reg" on Showtime's hit series The Chi, was recently robbed at gunpoint. The Chicago native is a local celebrity who has appeared in numerous television dramas that take place in his hometown, from The Chi to Power Book IV: Force and Empire. His longest tenure as an actor was his recurring role on The Chi from 2018 to 2019.
Unfortunately for the 25-year-old, life imitated art on Sunday morning, as an unidentified suspect hopped into the backseat of a vehicle while Fitzpatrick was riding in the passenger seat before taking some of his valuables, such as his chain. No injuries were reported from this incident, and the perpetrator is still at large.
