In an interview with TrueHoops back in 2021, Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker clarified a long-standing rumor about NBA players pooping their pants during the heat of competition saying, “I’ve seen a couple white shorts where you see someone had a little accident on the back. Just ask any NBA equipment manager." But, when it comes to professional basketball players who have allegedly relieved themselves while in full uniform on the court, sports fans on social media have made a playful tradition out of roasting the guys who seemingly commit the act on live television with a series of menacing memes and video clips. Usman Garuba is no exception to the rule.

On Saturday, the Houston Rockets power forward returned to his home country of Spain to participate in the national team's World Cup qualifying matchup against the Netherlands. But it wasn't the game that caught the television viewers' attention. During a timeout, Garuba could be seen standing near the bench as his team huddled up and strategized. The brownish skid marks located on the white shorts are kind of hard to miss. Shortly after the game, the images of Garuba standing in what appeared to be soiled shorts went viral, causing sports fans to accuse the front-court player of pooping his pants.
