Mike Tyson previously called for people to boycott amid a series about his life being released. Also, Tyson says the platform stole his story, with the boxer calling the series a “slave master take over story.” Now, Tyson says Hulu didn’t want to pay him for his likeness.
While on ‘The Record with Greta Susteren,’ Tyson spoke against Hulu and what he claims they did to him. “They lied on a few occasions, telling people it was my show so they could get free advertisements and use somebody's property,” said the legendary boxer. Tyson continued saying the brand tried to get UFC head Dana White to be a partner with them, an idea White did not agree to at all.
Tyson said, “They also used the UFC to try to allow them to promote their movie, and Dana said he's not with that at all, they're charlatans, and he didn't want nothing to do with them.” From there, he said Hulu didn’t want to pay him for his likeness, posing the question: “How do they expect to have relationships with entertainers when they're stealing money from them?” He concluded his thoughts about the Hulu saga, saying, “They're not offering to pay them for their life story. It's just a ... bunch of charlatans trying to get their names in the paper.” Take a look above.
