Last month, it was revealed Meek Mill and Roc Nation parted ways with each other after 10 years. Meek Mill went on to say “All I seen today was meek and roc part ways …I’m personally handling my own business so I can take risk and grow ..we came to that agreement together.. I have a label deal with roc for my artist and I got reform super tied with them and many other investments wit jigga.” Many questioned if the statement by the Philadelphia rapper was true, and now, Jay-Z has addressed rumors of a possible beef with Meek Mill following his departure from Roc Nation.

Jay-Z made an appearance on DJ Khaled’s ‘GOD DID’ album on the title track along with Lil Wayne and others. During his verse, Jay-Z fired off bars addressing an alleged rift with Meek, saying “Me and Meek could never beef, I freed that n***a from a whole bid, Hov did // Next time we have a discussion who the G.O.A.T., you donkeys know this.” Listen above.
