Update 08/26/2022 10:13am:

Vanessa Bryant was involved in a lawsuit against L.A. County officials who shared photos of her late husband and daughter from the crash site where the two tragically lost their lives. Several others lost their lives in the crash, and photos of the victims were allegedly shared. Since then, Bryant and her co-plaintiff Christopher Chester were awarded millions in a judgment by the court

Bryant was awarded $16 million, while Chester, whose wife and daughter passed in the crash, was awarded $15 million. Now, Vanessa Bryant has revealed what she plans on doing with the money she received due to the judgment.

Bryant’s attorney Luis Li said, “From the beginning, Vanessa Bryant has sought only accountability, but our legal system does not permit her to force better policies, more training or officer discipline. Those measures are the responsibility of the sheriff’s and fire departments — responsibilities that Mrs. Bryant’s efforts have exposed as woefully deficient, even giving amnesty to the wrongdoers.”

Since then, it was noted that Vanessa Bryant plans on donating all of the money from the judgment to the Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation. Stay tuned for more updates.

According to multiple reports, Vanessa Bryant, the widow of the late Kobe Bryant, won her lawsuit against Los Angeles County after responders snapped photos and showed them to people of the grisly helicopter crash site where Kobe, his daughter Gianna, and seven others perished.

The jury concluded that the first responders invaded the Bryant family's privacy by snapping the photos and caused great emotional distress as a result.

Vanessa Bryant was awarded $16 million to be paid by Los Angeles County. In addition, the second plaintiff in the case, Chris Chester, who lost his wife Sarah and daughter Payton in the crash, was also awarded $15 million.
