According to Atlanta's WSB-TV, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis says that a witness in the YSL RICO case is being threatened after a document including the witness' statement was leaked online. Willis added that the witness's family, who is reportedly a cooperating YSL associate, is also getting death threats in light of the leak.

It's unknown who leaked the documents, but Willis revealed that an investigation is ongoing. She added that steps have been made to protect the witness and their family, as they believe that the threats are idle.

Brian Steel, the attorney representing Young Thug, reacted to the news, stating, "Whomever is placing items of discovery online is not doing anybody a favor. It is totally inappropriate to try this case in social media. This case will be tried fairly and justly in Fulton County Superior Court."

Steel also reacted to Young Thug having additional charges added to his case over a machine gun found during the search of his home during his arrest. Steel stated, "Mr. Williams has committed no crime whatsoever. I look forward to the commencement of the jury trial."
