In this clip, R. Marcos Taylor reveals why he believes that his fellow co-stars from "Straight Outta Compton," Jason Mitchell and O'Shea Jackson Jr., should have been nominated for Academy Awards for their performances in the 2015 film. From there, he talks about playing Suge Knight in "Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel'le." The 45-year-old states that while he was hesitant about playing the role initially, he couldn't turn down a payday that offered him three times the amount of money that he earned for the same role in "Straight Outta Compton." Taylor also reveals that he accepted the role against the wishes of Dr. Dre. Lastly, he explains a few incidents that he had on the set of "Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel'le," because of his aggressive approach to method acting.
