Youth and High School football games in the state of Texas are prestigious events that have proven to be lucrative and galvanizing for its residents. The state often produces more college prospects and recruits every year. With so much invested in the games, coaches and referees are often scrutinized by a litany of demanding parents over various decisions that are made during the heat of competition. On Saturday night in North Texas, a spirited argument broke out on the football field at Lancaster Community Park. As the shouting match intensified, the dispute soon became physical, and shortly thereafter, gunshots rang out. What started out as a game between kids ended as a brawl among adults. As if that was suprising enough, the man who allegedly shot and killed Coach Mike Hickmon (43) is the brother of former NFL star Aqib Talib. Law Enforcment named Yaqub Talib (39) the suspect for the murder and issued a warrant for his arrest over the weekend. The older brother of Aqib Talib turned himself in to authories on Monday and he now faces a first-degree murder charge.

“Mr. Talib regrets the tragic loss of life and so he turned himself in today so that he would be able to say his side of the story," said Yaqub's attorney Clark Birdsall.

As of now, Yaqub's bail has not been set. His defense team is reportedly seeking a Magistrate.
