Update 08/15/2022 12:13pm:

A $20 million lawsuit against Trey Songz was dropped, but the singer is reportedly facing numerous other cases against him related to sexual misconduct. Now, one woman has claimed that a lawyer tried to get her to lie on Trey Songz and allegedly offered her a bribe.

A woman named Mariah Thielen met with Ariel Mitchell, the attorney of one of the accusers, Jauhara Jeffries. Thielen met with Mitchell in April 2021 at a bar in Miami and claims the attorney smelled like weed and was carrying a gun during their meeting.

The transcript from a recent court hearing says Thielen was offered between $100,000 and $200,000 to lie and say she witnessed Songz sexually assault Jeffries. It was noted Thielen was with Jeffries the night Songz allegedly assaulted Jeffries. Thielen says she was offered a bribe to claim Trey assaulted her and that Mitchell allegedly said she was trying to make Songz look like “the next R. Kelly.”

Thielen said Mitchell planned to take her allegations to Trey Songz’s team so they could come to a monetary settlement. The hope was that the possible lies from Thielen would get them a bigger bag. Thielen noted she turned down the offer and told Songz’s team about the encounter shortly after.

Mitchell’s partner George Vrabeck has reportedly withdrawn from the case, saying there have been “multiple grounds for withdrawal.” Stay tuned for more updates.

Earlier this year, an accuser of Trey Songz came forward and shared a video of an alleged assault. According to attorneys of Trey Songz, a recent Las Vegas case against the singer that was dropped triggered the woman to come forward against Songz. Now, news has surfaced noting a woman who filed a $20 million lawsuit against Songz stemming from an incident in 2016 has had her lawsuit dropped.

The suit found “Jane Doe,” alleging she was at a house party in the West Hills in 2016 when the singer sexually assaulted her. The woman says after the alleged assault, she “grabbed her clothes and ran out of the house, leaving her underwear behind.” Jane Doe then tells the driver she got a ride from after fleeing saw she “was in emotional distress,” so they drove her to an emergency room where she was looked at, and the cops were alerted.

Documents were filed on June 29, 2022, to have the case against the singer dismissed without prejudice. Radar Online reported that the woman might refile at a later date.
