In this clip, Spice 1 took issue with T-Pain’s suggestion that 2Pac wouldn’t have been able to compete with rappers today on a lyrical basis. Spice said that T-Pain’s opinion shouldn’t matter considering that he doesn’t rap but is instead an R&B singer. He also made the point that rappers today are getting over by singing on their records to mask the lack of lyricism and content that gangsta rappers of his generation boasted.
