Terrell Owens is one of the greatest wide receivers in the history of the National Football League, he's also amongst the most controversial players ever. His high-profile disputes with former teammates and coaches such as Jeff Garcia, Donovan McNabb, Steve Mariucci, and Andy Reid undoubtedly contributed to the fact that he was denied entry into the NFL Hall of Fame for many years. Nevertheless, for all the mayhem he might have caused within NFL lockerrooms, Owens was practically a model citizen off the field. So, when a female bicyclist accused the six-time pro bowler of intentionally intimidating her during a heated argument where she alleged that he almost hit her with his car, it came as a bit of a surprise.

According to reports, the dispute occurred around 10:30 pm in a quiet neighborhood in Boward County. A female resident from the area was riding her bicycle when Owens drove by in his vehicle. The bicyclist felt that he was driving rather recklessly, so she voiced her opinion, and an argument ensued, prompting Owens to get out of his car so that they could continue the conversation. The back and forth bickering became so loud that the cops were called. When law enforcement arrived, it only seemed to agitate Owens and the bicyclist even more, as they both put on a dramatic display for their onlookers. Owens pulled out his camera phone and started offering up commentary about the bicyclist while accusing her of behaving like a "Karen." In response, the bicyclist started crying, alleging that she was frightened by his presence before steering the narrative towards race and gender.

"You don't yell at me and tell me I almost hit you and I didn't," Owens said to the woman while broadcasting the incident live on Instagram.

"But, you didn't have to get out of your f***ing car!" the woman replied.

"You didn't have to talk to me that way, either! Karen!" Said Owens as he fired back.

"You're a Black man approaching a white woman!" Cried the female bicyclist.

Owens stopped recording before the cops left, so as of now, there's no word on how this ordeal played out. The 48-year-old did post the video on Instagram moments later with the following caption.

"KAREN IS REAL!!!!"

"Wow!! JUST A NORMAL NIGHT OF BEING A BLACK MAN IN AMERICA , I want to say I can’t believe it but y’all know what it is. #karenonbikes #tears #falseaccusations #hernameiskate"
