New York City Bishop Lamor Whitehead found himself in a tough spot as the bishop was robbed of $400,000 in jewelry during a live stream service this past Sunday.

The NYPD says the incident went down inside the Leaders of Tomorrow International Ministry in Canarsie. Whitehead was in the middle of a sermon, which was being live-streamed when three masked gunmen came into the church. From there, Whitehead could be seen on the floor on his hands and knees before the jackers came through and took the jewelry.

It was noted $400,000 worth of jewelry was taken from the pastor and his wife. The robbers then fled from the crime scene in a white Mercedes Benz. Whitehead gave an update following the robbery, saying, “We’re pushing. We’re still doing what we need to do. I’m not a person from the suburbs; I’m from Brooklyn, I’m from the city. I understand the streets. This bishop, I’m not scared. I was born without jewelry, jewelry don’t make me.”

Police said the cost of the jewelry was around $400,000, but now sources claim the value was over $1 million. As of now, no one has been arrested in the case.
