Miles Bridges entered a plea of not guilty in relation to felony domestic violence and child abuse charges brought against him. The Michigan State product is facing 11 years and 8 months if convicted on all counts.

Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges has been formally charged with felony domestic violence and child abuse after allegedly beating the mother of his children in front of the kids. According to TMZ, Bridges was hit with "one felony count of injuring a child’s parent and two felony counts of child abuse under circumstances or conditions likely to cause great bodily injury or death."

“Domestic violence creates physical, mental and emotional trauma that has a lasting impact on survivors,” said controversial L.A. District Attorney George Gascon. “Children who witness family violence are especially vulnerable and the impact on them is immeasurable. Mr. Bridges will be held accountable for his actions and our Bureau of Victim Services will support the survivors through this difficult process.”

On Wednesday (June 29), Hornets forward Miles Bridges was arrested for felony domestic violence in Los Angeles. 

Further details surrounding the incident, including the victim were not released. According to TMZ, the incident happened on Tuesday, and Bridges, 24, left the scene before police arrived. The female victim says she got into an argument with Bridges, which turned physical. The woman required medical attention, but the extent of her injuries were not revealed. 

Bridges turned himself in on Wednesday, and he was released after posting $130,000 bail. He is due back in court on July 20 in Los Angeles.
