During a recent episode of his "Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson" podcast, the legendary boxer sat down with his therapist, Sean McFarland, aka Seano, and the topic of death came up.

Around the 37:55 mark in the above video, Tyson spoke about how he feels like he is getting closer to dying. He stated, "We’re all gonna die one day of course. Then, when I look in the mirror, I see those little spots on my face, I say, 'Wow. That means my expiration date is coming close, really soon.'" This led Tyson to ask McFarland how he views death, and Sean told Tyson that he's "not sweating it," adding that he only wants to "die consciously."

This isn't the first time Tyson has spoken about mortality recently. Last year, Mike revealed that he "died" while tripping on toad venom. Tyson told the crowd at Wonderland, a Miami conference dedicated to psychedelics, microdosing and medicine, "I 'died' during my first trip. In my trips, I've seen that death is beautiful. Life and death both have to be beautiful, but death has a bad rep. The toad has taught me that I'm not going to be here forever. There's an expiration date."
