On Saturday night in Northwest Atlanta, around 10:30 pm, a man was standing near a convenience store called Pic N Pay on Donald Lee Hollowell Pkwy when a suspect in a gold minivan suddenly pulled up and dislodged his crossbow, hitting the victim directly in the chest. After being shot, the victim somehow managed to make his way to a house located on Rockwood Avenue, where someone called 911 on his behalf.
Shortly after local authorities showed up to offer him medical attention, the victim refrained from cooperating with the police. Hence, no arrests have been made about this matter, nor have any suspects been identified. The victim was taken to a local hospital and listed in stable condition. He is expected to recover from the injuries he sustained during the incident.
