Video shows a group of home invaders running for their lives as they fled the targeted home after the resident of the property opened fire.
According to authorities, two of the burglars managed to get inside the home where they were met by the homeowner who was armed. After a struggle ensued and the homeowner dropped his firearm, he managed to get to another part of the home where he kept additional weapons. He then opened fire on his assailants forcing them to flee the premises.
Using home surveillance footage, authorities identified and arrested Da’Torrance Hackworth, 20, and Antonio Dewayne Dean Jr., 18. The two were charged with home invasion and illegal gun possession among other charges. Joseph Roman Sanders, 18, remains at large, and deputies are still trying to identify a fourth suspect.
