New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson reached legendary status this past weekend after his ex-girlfriend alleged that he slept with his mom's best friend.
Many believe Wilson’s ex, Abbey Gile, went public with the accusation after she was spotted out with Wilson's former best friend, Washington Commanders wide receiver Dax Milne. After confirming the relationship with Milne in a since-deleted post, Gile commented about being referred to as a "homie hopper" by tossing out the accusation claiming Zach “was sleeping with his mom’s best friend … that’s the real homie hopper.”
In response to the drama brewing around him, Wilson broke his silence since Gile's accusation and wrote in his Instagram caption, “Took the boys to @gozzerranchclub in Idaho before camp!” adding, “Poor cell service… What I miss?”
