The mugshot for Young Thug's nephew, Fardereen Deonta Grier, 21, was released following his arrest on Wednesday (July 6). Grier was charged with the murder of his girlfriend, Destiny Fitzpatrick, 24, in the East Point area of Georgia.
An incident report obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reveals that Grier was "crying and very emotional" when police arrived at an apartment unit around 4:45 pm on Wednesday. Fitzpatrick was lying in a pool of blood by the door, while broken glass and other items were found in the living room of the apartment.
Grier initially told officers that "two guys in ski masks attempted to rob" him and Fitzpatrick as they were leaving the apartment. He added that one of the gunmen shot Fitzpatrick, but Grier later confessed to shooting the woman during a dispute. A witness told officers that they heard yelling and then a gunshot. When the witness went outside, he saw Fitzpatrick lying on the ground and called police.
No further details have been revealed about Grier's next court date.

Young Thug's nephew, Fardereen Deonta Grier, was arrested on Wednesday (July 6) and charged with the murder of his girlfriend, Destiny Fitzpatrick.
According to TMZ, police responded to a scene in East Point, Georgia, where Grier was seen crying and Fitzpatrick dead by the front door of the home. Grier initially told police officers that he was fighting off two masked intruders, but he later admitted to shooting Fitzpatrick in the face.
While speaking to police, Grier told them that he was the nephew of Young Thug, although it's unclear why he offered up the information. Sources confirmed to TMZ that Grier is the son of Young Thug's oldest sister.
