In this clip, Amin Joseph detailed how Mo’Nique played an instrumental role in his career. He recounted meeting her at the Apollo while he was working as a bartender. Amin said Mo’Nique called him out on stage and told everyone inside that he was a great actor. After she was done hosting, Mo’Nique introduced Amin to her agent without ever knowing if he was actually any good. Amin reveals what made Mo’Nique stick her neck out there for him in the clip above.
