Cardi B dropped her new track “Hot S**t,” featuring Kanye West and Lil Durk. To the surprise of many, the rapper didn’t drop a video to go along with the record, which has been a standard for the artist. Cardi has been pushing the record hard, though, and took to social media to give fans a glimpse into what life looks like for her outside of the internet filters.
The rapper hopped on Twitter and posted photos of her and a dog sitting poolside. One retouched photo showed the rapper with a deep gaze, and Cardi said, “Filter on the thighs.” The other photo, which was untouched, showed Cardi looking up at the sky while unedited natural portions of her leg showed.
She then promoted her single “Hot S**t” before announcing she was going live on Instagram. In the past, Cardi has been vocal about women and the higher standards they face in the entertainment industry. Take a look above.
