Gas prices across the United States have risen drastically, with some states reaching almost $9.00 per gallon. One Utah man felt the effects of gas as he caught on fire while trying to steal fuel from another vehicle.
Video footage that surfaced via KSL TV showed a white pickup truck pulling up to another truck in a parking lot of a fire protection company. The man tried to siphon gas out of the truck and couldn’t get the process to go through. “The guy tried to siphon gas out of it, and he wasn’t getting the siphon to work,” said Summit Fire and Protection branch manager Travis Mills. From there, the man tried to drill the gas tank, and caught on fire.
The man was seen catching on fire, then rolling on the ground to take it out. From there, he ran away with his shirt on fire and eventually fell and rolled again before being helped up by an accomplice. Watch above.
