A 16-year-old rapper by the name of BkbPole (aka Jermaine Jones) recently posted a video clip from an encounter with a group of adults who allegedly vandalized his car upon his arrival in their suburban neighborhood in Sanford, Florida. While the exact origin of the heated dispute is still unclear, the footage depicts a stationary automobile (that had been driven by BkbPole) with a broken window, as a small group of adults, led by two men named Donald Corsi (52) and Howard Hughes (61), aggressively approach the teenage rapper, who's seemingly holding the camera, in a collective effort to make him leave their community. The face-off appeared to stem from the resident's claim that BkpPole has been racing his car on their streets and apparently someone present had a gun on them.

"Get out of my face," said BkbPole.

"I'm not in your face! Get out of my neighborhood f*ckwad!" Replied Hughes.

"Who got a gun?" Asked BkbPole.

"The guy who's got a permit to carry it!" Said Hughes.

"He's got the gun? Alright." Said BkbPole.

"You're the one that would get a gun! Get out of this neighborhood!" Said Hughes' wife, Cindy.

Shortly after the incident, Bkbpole took to Instagram and posted the video, along with a written account of what happened from his viewpoint.

"I was racially profiled while driving through my friends neighborhood," BkbPole. "They didn't like the way I was driving, so they felt the need to hit my car with a cone, and throw a rock through my window. All I wanted to do was de-escalate until police came, because I wasn't about to get charged pressed on me for no reason."

In the aftermath of this occurrence, Donald Corsi and Howard Hughes were both arrested by the Seminole County Sheriff's Office. Corsi was charged with weapon offenses (a second-degree felony) for throwing a brick into BkbPole's vehicle. Hughes was charged with first-degree misdemeanor battery and both men were charged with criminal mischief for causing damage to BkbPole's property. Shortly thereafter, Corsi and Hughes posted bond and were released from the Seminole County jail.

The day after BkbPole was confronted by Corsi and Hughes on camera, his older sister took to Twitter and posted a message outlining the similarities between this incident and the one that resulted in the loss Travyon Martin's life nearly 10 years ago, including the fact that both encounters took place in the city of Sanford, Florida.

“Yesterday my 16-year-old brother was racially profiled in a neighborhood in Sanford Florida, the same city as Trayvon Martin. Luckily, he had a different fate. I commend my brother for how he reacted in the situation. They tried to throw a brick at his head, And missed.”
