June is Pride Month, which celebrates all people in the LGBTQ space, along with acknowledging the struggles many previously suffered to push the culture forward. Many events have been taking place across the country for Pride, but there are still many people who aren’t down with the month and what it represents. According to reports, a white supremacist group named Patriot Front attempted to show how much they disagreed, as they had planned on sparking a riot at a Pride event.

Police reportedly pulled over a U-Haul with a large number of people who are a part of Patriot Front, a white supremacist group. The police say the men had a smoke grenade and shields. Officers say they got a tip that a group of men was loading things into a box truck close to a hotel. Police say they were able to get a head start on the group and catch them. Police think the men came from 10 states away to hit up the “Pride In The Park” event.

Thomas Ryan Rousseau, the reported leader of the Patriot Front, was arrested for criminal conspiracy. Rousseau and other group members are being held on $300 bail. According to reports, the men will appear in court on Monday for an arraignment. Stay tuned for more updates.
