The passing of Juice WRLD is still affecting many, especially former friends and collaborators like Juice’s girlfriend, Ally Lotti and his former engineer Max Lord.

Ally Lotti took to social media and expressed cryptic messages, alluding to someone wanting her dead, with the young woman hinting the threats were stemming from the rapper’s former label. Juice WRLD’s engineer Max Lord chimed in with his thoughts, claiming the rapper’s former team is trying to steal from him. Along with that, he says he has received some serious threats.

“They called me in March 2020 threatening me to give them my recording equipment, demanding I come set it up at their house and leave it there, which wasn’t even very much gear at the time. I’m sure they can afford the 8k worth of equipment, much [of] which I built and modded myself because I actually know what it even is,” said Max Lord. He continued, “It seems like they are trying to smear my name in relation to Juice to get me out of their way. These open threats of violence against me from Grade A, posted on Chase’s Twitter, this stuff is absurd. They’re openly threatening to kill me. They’ve stolen firearms from me. They’ve threatened me with them.”

Max Lord didn’t stop there, detailing instances of being involved in fights. “We’ve gotten in physical altercations because Juice didn’t like beats G Money tried to have him record on the day before he passed away, that he would profit from. With Ally coming [out] about these sorts of things, I owe it to her and Jarad to back her up here and speak out on this,” said Max Lord. Juice WRLD’s label has yet to respond to the allegations. Stay tuned for more updates.
