Jamie Foxx recently sat down with Tank and J. Valentine for their new R&B Money Podcast, which is a partnership with iHeartMedia and Charlamagne Tha God’s Black Effect Podcast Network.
During the sit-down, Jamie told a story that left Tank and J. Valentine doubled over with laughter. Jamie explained that he once spent time around a "very prominent actress," who mistook him for NBA legend Rick Fox while she was high on cocaine.
Jamie explained, "I ain’t saying no names, but I was in a hotel room with a very prominent actress and she was doing cocaine. I wasn’t! I wasn’t! I was not doing it! I don’t do that because of my religious beliefs. She does the cocaine, she says ‘I’m a bad mother,’ and then she goes, ‘Wow, I didn’t think I would be in this room doing cocaine with Rick Fox.' She thought I was Rick Fox the whole f*cking night, bro. She thought I was Rick Fox I was like, ‘I’m not light-skinned with good hair like this n***a.’”
Jamie later revealed that the actress jumped in his limo thinking it was someone else's, which led to the hilariously awkward run-in. While Jamie believes that the actress mistook him for Rick Fox based on his looks, some social media users have stated that they believe it was simply a name mix-up.
