Colin Kaepernick has been out of the NFL since 2016 when he began his protest against police brutality by refusing to stand during the National Anthem. But after years of controversy, lawsuits, and disingenous attempts at working out for NFL scouts, Kaepernick has what many consider to be a legitimate work out with an NFL team.

According to reports, Kaepernick is slated to work out for the Las Vegas Raiders. This opportunity comes on the heels of Raiders owner Mark Davis saying he was open to working out Kaepernick when speaking with NBC Sports last month. "If our coaches and general manager want to bring him in or want him to be the quarterback on this team," Davis said at the time, "I would welcome him with open arms."
