According to reports, Louisville authorities are currently investigating a drug bust where they claim they found enough drugs to take out the entire city of Los Angeles. 

The Louisville Metro Police Department partnered up with the Drug Enforcement Agency, which led to the execution of a significant drug seizure this past Monday. The LMPD revealed the two agencies took 8.5 kilos of fentanyl and in between 20,000 to 30,000 pressed fentanyl pills from a storage unit. According to the DEA, one kilogram of fentanyl could kill 500,000 people. 8.5 kilograms of the deadly opioid could almost result in 4,250,000 overdosing.

Via social media, the LMPD wrote, “While the investigation does remain ongoing, this serves as a reminder that the diligent work of officers saves lives every day.” Take a look above.
