A former corrections officer by the name of Fredrick Johnson has been arrested for sneaking porn into the Mobile County Jail in Alabama. According to reports, Johnson's transgressions were discovered upon a random bag search that was conducted by officials at the facility. In addition to allegedly smuggling flash drives with pornography into the correctional facility, a further investigation revealed that Johnson intended to bring cameras, phone chargers, and a camera watch into the prison.

Investigators say that the man who had been working for the prison for nearly three years had been selling electronics to the prisoners, in somewhat of a black-market scheme. As a result, he has been charged with 21 counts of promoting prison contraband.

“This behavior will not be tolerated,” said Sheriff Sam Cochran in a news release about the revelation. “We are constantly investigating how contraband is brought into our jail and if we find it is one of our employees then we will arrest him/her just like we would anyone else.”

As of now, details regarding a court date for Johnson's case have not been released. For more on this story, stay tuned.
